Yoga in English

As a yoga practitioner I experienced different methods (e.g. Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Hatha Vinyasa, Sivananda Rishikesh serie, Yin Yoga). At the moment I am going deep on traditional yoga (Krishnamacharya – T. K. V. Desikachar). These experiences flow into all courses. Body postures and mindful breathing practices are present in all my classes. I work with beginners and all levels groups.

About Yoga

The regular practice of yoga reduces the tendency to be stressed and has a positive effect on the back, joints, digestive system, intestines and sleep, to name just a few examples. Yoga promotes well-being, strengthens muscles and provides more flexibility. Exercises can be adapted for all ages and bodies.

Postures, combined with deep and subtle conscious breathing, balance the prana or life energy, which provides vitality. Yoga gives us important tools to help us influence our thoughts and emotions. By calming the mind and emotions, we are able to look inward.

With a healthy and vital body, a balanced mind, and balanced emotions, the practitioner can consider him/herself advanced. Advanced practice does not primarily mean being able to perform complex postures.

Detachment from conditioning and habits that limit us, knowing our core and self-love are treasures that the deep experience of yoga can offer us.
